About dennis

Specializing in Hitting, Pitching, Fielding, and Player Development

Dennis brings years of playing and coaching experience to the cage, with a background rooted in both college baseball and player development. Originally from Illinois, he was an All-Conference center fielder before continuing his career as a right-handed pitcher at Quincy University. After his playing days ended in 2015, he transitioned into coaching and has been helping players grow their skills and confidence ever since.

For the past 7 years, Dennis has coached competitive AAA/Major travel baseball in Scottsdale for players ages 11–15U. His teams have competed in top events such as Perfect Game tournaments, and he has guided several athletes on their journey to the next level, including:
• Jack Lafflam – coached 4 years, currently ranked the #1 player in Arizona, committed to the University of Arizona
• Justin Cherrington – coached 4 years, NAIA All-American, transferred to Houston
• Jackson Weber – coached 2 years, committed to Arizona State (Class of 2027)

In addition to travel ball, Dennis spent 5 years working with the AZ Playball Pony Baseball League in Scottsdale, coordinating league operations alongside former MLB players such as Paul Konerko, JJ Putz, Geoff Jenkins, and Miguel Montero. He has also had the opportunity to coach the children of former big leaguers, gaining a unique perspective on player development.

Dennis lives in Mesa with his wife and remains passionate about helping young athletes build a strong foundation for success both on and off the field.
